Data Analysis and Distribution
Established in 2001 to provide officials for elite English football competitions, PGMOL continually seeks to enhance its professional development. Ventureaxis was enlisted to create a system capable of processing and synchronizing data feeds from ChyronHego TRACAB and Opta. This system generates vital statistics related to match officials' positions during specific events such as Red/Yellow Cards, Free Kicks, and Offsides.
The system includes bespoke foul and offside analysis, aiding in the evaluation of officiating quality. The newly generated statistics are seamlessly synchronized with match video footage, facilitating comprehensive reviews with the involved match officials. To meet the demands of large-volume data feeds (player/official/ball position 25 times per second), the system processes and delivers data securely through a REST Web Service. Hosted on the Amazon Cloud, the system undergoes rigorous monitoring on match days to ensure the timely delivery of data.
